Great, we look forward to meeting you! The following paragraphs will give you a small taste of what our services are like. The best way to find out, however, is to join us next Sunday.
The service
This time is set aside for fellowship with God through music and the word of God. At the 11:00 services the worship teams lead us in modern songs of worship. Many of the songs may be familiar to you if you listen to KTIS (98.5 FM) radio. In addition to singing, Nowthen expresses worship through prayer, drama, multi-media and more. Individuals are free to worship in ways that they are comfortable with, for some that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. During the 8:30 service the songs are traditional hymns with special selections by the choir or soloists.
Offering
At each service Nowthen receives an offering. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. Feel comfortable simply "passing the plate".
Message
At either service you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a "real and relevant" relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life. Koinonia Kafe
If you'd like a cup of coffee and a donut before/after the service, or if you'd like the chance to sit and chat with friends or family, the Koinonia Kafe is a great place to relax. The Koinonia Kafe is open from 9-11am and is located in the lower level - just follow your nose!
